その後、クリスチャンが継いで畑を増やし、現在、合わせて5.3haの畑を耕作しています。
所有するアペラシオンはブルゴーニュ・ルージュに始まり、村名ジュヴレ・シャンベルタンのノーマルとヴィエイユ・ヴィーニュ、村名シャンボール・ミュジニー・レ・ボードとモレ・サン・ドニ・ミランド、ジュヴレ・シャンベルタンの1級がコルボー、フォントニ、カズティエ。
そして最後に特級シャルム・シャンベルタン。
このシャルム・シャンベルタンはふたつの区画からなり、ひとつは父が買ったシャルムでもうひとつはクリスチャンが手に入れたマゾイエールだそうです。
セラファンのワインは高い新樽率が特徴。
ブルゴーニュ・ルージュでさえ50％の新樽を用い、村名ジュヴレが70％、同ヴィエイユ・ヴィーニュ以上は100％となります。
製樽会社は主にセガン・モローとフランソワ・フレール。
前者はエレガントなクリマに、後者はパワフルなクリマに向いているとクリスチャンは言います。
ワインがこれほど高い新樽に耐えられるのも、ブドウの品質が確かだからです。
クリスチャンの手はグローヴでもはめたかと思うほど大きく、ゴツゴツとし、皺にはブドウの色素が染み込んで落ちません。
生粋のヴィニュロンの手、こうした手をもつ造り手のワインはまずハズれることは無いでしょう。
瓶熟によってタンニンが丸くなり香りも開いてくるタイプでもあるので、十年程寝かせても良いかも知れません。
