Told from three points of view it is the story of an uneasy truce between two old enemies- Walker and the man who put him in jail, Dan Connor. Fans of thrillers will enjoy this, of course. But it should have a wider audience. After all who doesn't love a love story? Or a story with boats? Or a wilderness setting? Small perfect details signal that McMillen knows boats, and the waters of the Pacific northwest. There is not a superfluous word in the book.
