【電子書籍なら、スマホ・パソコンの無料アプリで今すぐ読める!】
"Sophia's right boys. Though I know you must be feeling the need to be with your bride again, we'll never get her training underway in any proper way if we don't start now. Though you have consumated in the traditional sense, you know the folks out in Red River will run you out of town if you haven't both mounted her at once. That's the Red River way."

When bounty hunters Storm and Troy find Faith Weston, the train robber they've been hunting, it feels like their lucky day. But one look at her makes them realize that they're not collecting anything but a bride, even if it means running from the law.

Luckily, their old friend Doc Jensen is not too far of a ride away. Not only is he a good friend of the Sheriff, but he knows the ways in which two men can properly train a woman to be their bride, especially a woman as unruly as the one they have on their hands.

Faith hasn't ever had a real man in her life and doesn't take easily to the cowboys demands. But with firm hands and the Doc's guidance, the two men awaken feelings in her she'd never dreamed of and she soon finds herself craving the closeness of her strong protectors.

That closeness is what she gets, but not in the way she expected. When the men reveal the Red River tradition of sealing wedding vows, Faith doesn't know if she can endure the humiliation of such a public display.
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。

【電子書籍なら、スマホ・パソコンの無料アプリで今すぐ読める!】
Hope for spiritual refugees, church burnouts, and freedom seekers.

After years of participating in a comfortable faith tradition, many find themselves in a spiritual wilderness, feeling disillusioned with church, longing for more freedom and less religion in their lives. If that describes you, you’re in good company. Countless men and women are in the middle of a shifting faithーand aren’t sure where to turn.

But losing beliefs doesn’t mean you have to lose your faith. Pastor, friend, and spiritual director Kathy Escobar has journeyed with many who have experienced significant shifts in the faith they once considered unchangeable. Through their stories and her own, Kathy has discovered that growth and change are natural parts of life in our relationship with God.

Filled with honest stories and practical insights, Faith Shift gives language to what many experience as their faith evolves. With an inviting blend of vulnerability and hope, it addresses the losses that come with spiritual shifts and offers tangible practices for rebuilding a free and authentic faith after it unravels.

Includes personal reflection and group discussion questions at the end of each chapter.
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。

【電子書籍なら、スマホ・パソコンの無料アプリで今すぐ読める!】
In Stories of Faith and Courage from the Vietnam War Larkin Spivey shows real people fighting and living through a difficult conflict and confusing era of American history. His stories are presented in a daily devotional format with scripture readings each day, revealing the amazing ways in which God acts to empower believers and answer doubts. Every person of faith will come closer to God through these pages, and religious skeptics will see many of their own questions explored in depth.

Spivey also presents a concise history of the Vietnam War with overviews, maps, and photographs to give new insights into why America fought this war and how American, Allied, and South Vietnamese warriors in effect won it on the battlefield. Each month a different aspect of the conflict is emphasized, including the history after World War II, early U. S. involvement, guerilla fighting, conventional warfare, civic action, the Tet Offensive, Vietnamization, prisoners of war, air and helicopter operations, and finally, the long post-war road to reconciliation for Vietnam veterans.

By combining the drama of front line action with the broader historical context of the conflict Spivey gives a picture of war and combat unavailable in other histories. Indexes enable readers to search stories by name or topic, including a wide range of life issues such as addiction, anger, anxiety, doubt, fear, forgiveness, hearing and understanding God, hope, leadership, miracles, post traumatic stress, salvation, suffering, trust, and much more. Readers can find stories specifically relating to corpsmen, medics, children, prisoners of war, missing in action, nurses, refugees, wives, women, and many other relevant topics.
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。

Without it, profit would not exist. The trick is to accept, anticipate, manage, and mitigate risk. In other words, master it.

In Way of the Turtle, Curtis Faith revealed the extraordinarily successful trading system of the now-famous group of investors known as the Turtles. Now, in this highly anticipated follow up to that bestseller, Faith delves deeply into the risk-mastery strategies that made the Turtles the envy of the investing world.

Inside the Mind of the Turtles provides expert insight into how great traders combat the natural but counterproductive response to risk. Faith begins by examining the nature of risk and the human being's natural response to it. Then he outlines proven techniques for seizing control of it. You will learn how to:

Set your main focus on acquiring gains--not avoiding losses

Place equal importance on assets already spent and those still on hand

Judge the quality of decisions based on their inception rather than their outcome

Avoid drawing conclusions using too little information

You'll find valuable advice not only from Faith, but from some of the greatest financial minds on the scene today, including fellow Turtle Jerry Parker, venture capitalist Simon Olson, and Howard Lindzon, founder of the popular Web site, "WallStrip." Use their collective advice, and you'll find yourself approaching risk in ways you never dreamed possible.

In today's economy, controlling your aversion to risk is not just prudent--it's an absolute necessity. Economic turbulence more often than not leads to poor investment decisions. Inside the Mind of the Turtles will help you conquer the fears that can cripple even the most experienced investors out there.
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。

This preoccupation contributed much, unfortunately, to that faddism that was so characteristic of American theology in the Sixties, the period imme diately following the passing of a generation of theological giants like Barth, Bultmann, Tillich, Gogarten, and the Niebuhrs. There has seldom been a period in which so many promissory notes were issued so care lessly onto the intellectual market, notes that were not, and perhaps could not, have been redeemed. Given this temper of the times, it is difficult to account for the almost total neglect of the work of Professor Fritz Burl of Basel, whose "theolo gy of existence" is one of the most interesting and impressive contempo rary attempts to interpret the myths and symbols of the Christian faith in terms of an existentialist philosophy. Even if one were to apply that most superficial, though for many apparently decisive, criterion of "radicality," one might have expected his work to attract some sustained attention be cause Buri has consistently posed a radical solution to most of the hotly debated issues of the times: the problem of demythologization, the mean ing of theological language, the problems raised by historical criticism, and the meaning of the historical Jesus for faith, to mention a few.
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。
