【電子書籍なら、スマホ・パソコンの無料アプリで今すぐ読める!】
God is real, alive, and very active in the lives of people all across the Earth today. He has invited us to come boldly into His presence to make our needs and petitions known to Him. He is able to make a way where there is no way today as much as ever. My wife, Angie, and I have always believed that and determined from the beginning of our marriage that we would look to God first in every situation we faced. Our desire was to experience God stories so our lives would glorify Him and be a living testimony of His greatness in a world that attempts to undermine faith in God.This book chronicles the most obvious and amazing answers to prayer in our lives so far. Of course, we know that there are many more stories that are equally important but more mundane and ordinary. He has healed us to the amazement of the doctors involved. He has worked miracles of provision in our lives. He has protected us and guided our steps. He has been the Great Shepherd in our lives! Our hope is that this book will inspire you to carry all your needs to Him in prayer and live in expectation of His divine activity in your life. He wants to make your life a living testimony as well. We hope you will be inspired to recognize the God stories in your own life and build a legacy of faith that is passed on to your children and grandchildren. 36
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。

【電子書籍なら、スマホ・パソコンの無料アプリで今すぐ読める!】
Often we lose sight of the enormity of everything around us: the stars, the galaxies, nebulae, and the vastness of space in general. We need to appreciate the sobering beauty and magnificence that we have been afforded, as well as the experience of existing. Though we may not consider how all of these came about, we need to look beyond ourselves. Surely, something or someone is majestic enough to have brought this about. Many humans believe in a supreme force or being called God. We also attempt to honor Him through various religions. This book's focus is on Christianity. Christian virtues cover a lot of positive thoughts, feelings, and behaviors considered morally and spiritually correct for enhancing one's development. It may be debatable as to whether faith, hope, and love are virtues. Yet they are very significant in the lives of the followers of Jesus Christ. These three attributes remain just as important in the lives of people today as they were to people of past generations, and to the existence of people in subsequent generations. They complement human existence. It is hard to imagine their exclusion in the daily activities of human life. The poems in Faith, Hope, and Love Remain attempt to emphasize the importance of faith, hope, and love in coping with life as it relates to interacting with other people and with the fluctuating experiences of daily living, and the spiritual enhancement of the human-God relationship. I have included my own good and bad life experiences as testimony and my personal understanding of those experiences in a spiritual context. I pray that these poems bring you enjoyment, as well as peace and a degree of discernment. I hope they will motivate the desire to read The Holy Bible more and meditate on those scriptures.
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。

When the angels got the revelation of the love that God has for us, they had to ask the question, "God, what is man that you be so mindful of him?" God said we don't have to come to him hesitating or fearful, but we can come boldly to the throne of grace, most especially for mercy and grace that we will need in trying times. When we refuse to come boldly before the throne, we deprive ourselves of our own needs. 【電子書籍なら、スマホ・パソコンの無料アプリで今すぐ読める!】
2016 Winner of the Gospel Coalition Book Awards

At the time of his death, Christopher Hitchens was the most notorious atheist in the world. And yet, all was not as it seemed. "Nobody is not a divided self, of course," he once told an interviewer, "but I think it's rather strong in my case." Hitchens was a man of many contradictions: a Marxist in youth who longed for acceptance among the social elites; a peacenik who revered the military; a champion of the Left who was nonetheless pro-life, pro-war-on-terror, and after 9/11 something of a neocon; and while he railed against God on stage, he maintained meaningfulーthough largely hidden from public viewーfriendships with evangelical Christians like Francis Collins, Douglas Wilson, and the author Larry Alex Taunton.

In The Faith of Christopher Hitchens, Taunton offers a very personal perspective of one of our most interesting and most misunderstood public figures. Writing with genuine compassion and without compromise, Taunton traces Hitchens's spiritual and intellectual development from his decision as a teenager to reject belief in God to his rise to prominence as one of the so-called "Four Horsemen" of the New Atheism. While Hitchens was, in the minds of many Christians, Public Enemy Number One, away from the lights and the cameras a warm friendship flourished between Hitchens and the author; a friendship that culminated in not one, but two lengthy road trips where, after Hitchens's diagnosis of esophageal cancer, they studied the Bible together. The Faith of Christopher Hitchens gives us a candid glimpse into the inner life of this intriguing, sometimes maddening, and unexpectedly vulnerable man.

"If everyone in the United States had the same qualities of loyalty and care and concern for others that Larry Taunton had, we'd be living in a much better society than we do." ~ Christopher Hitchens
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。

【電子書籍なら、スマホ・パソコンの無料アプリで今すぐ読める!】
***NATIONAL BESTSELLER*

A cancer diagnosis caused Tyler Merrittーbeloved author of I Take My Coffee Blackーto realize that there was no time for anger, unforgiveness, foolishness, or lost friendships. None of us have any time to waste.**

When Tyler Merritt was diagnosed with cancer, everything he thought he knew about what mattered in life changed. Though he made it through a highly invasive surgery and thought he was in the clear, Tyler soon realized that the cancer had other plans. It wasn’t a question of if the tumor would come back for an encore, his doctors told him. It was a question of when. The clock was ticking.

This Changes Everything is a humorous and optimistic love letter to this beautiful life. As Tyler counts down the days until his next scan, he begins to understand that none of us have time for anger, for being unforgiving, for foolishness, for letting relationships drift, or for letting friendships to be lost. It’s a clear-eyed reckoning with the reality that our time on this earth is limited and a hopeful vision of how each of us can make the most of the time we have left.

Laced with Tyler’s trademark humor, love of pop culture, and arguably too many musical theater references, This Changes Everything is a story about how wrestling with the idea of death can birth a whole new outlook on life, how we live it, and the urgency that comes when you grasp that time is a precious commodity.
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。

【電子書籍なら、スマホ・パソコンの無料アプリで今すぐ読める!】
A Generation X woman with no religious upbringing chronicles her three-year journey, studying America's religious landscape.
After years as a Hollywood writer and filmmaker, Kristin Hahn felt a crisis of faith: she had no spiritual group she could call her own. Setting out on a three-year journey, she began an investigation of America's religious traditions, practices, and beliefs.
Crisscrossing the nation, Hahn spent a week cloistered in prayer with convent nuns and a month of Ramadan fasting with Muslims. She went door-to-door with young Mormon missionaries and head-to-head with turbaned Sikh yogis. She sat through marathon meditations with Buddhist masters and spent days in conversation and ceremony with an Ojibwe medicine man. Her explorations exposed her to the rich, ancient culture of the Jews and brought her into the enclaves of Christian Scientists and Amish farmers, as well as the less traditional realms of Scientology, neopagan witchcraft, and the congregations of new-age gurus.
And this was only the beginning.
Openhearted, humorous, and always thoughtful, In Search of Grace offers nourishment for our spiritual hungerーand a myriad of ways to find a religious home.
Praise for In Search of Grace
"This absolutely fascinating account of one woman's search for spiritual fulfillment also serves as an enlightening overview of the positive power of religious diversity." ー Booklist
"Hahn's writing is astonishingly vivid, and she describes her encounters with a cocktail of good humor, respect, curiosity, admiration and the occasional wry but gentle criticism. 【電子書籍なら、スマホ・パソコンの無料アプリで今すぐ読める!】
There are numerous models, theories, and resources on integrating psychology and the Christian faith. But practicing integration in the real world is something else entirely. To move from theory to practice, we need learning informed by experiences, reflection on those experiences, and feedback from others. This integration process is a lifelong journey.

William B. Whitney and Carissa Dwiwardani offer a fresh approach to integration as embodied, lived, and practical. These two seasoned teachers guide students through the process of theological reflection on psychology as part of their spiritual formation and vocation, requiring each person to incorporate their own stories, culture, and experiences. True integration, the authors contend, should work for justice in our churches, communities, and wider society, with particular attention to the marginalized and oppressed.

Using guided exercises and prompts for reflection and discussion, The Integration Journey invites students to make their own contributions to constructing a culturally informed, organic model of integration that works for them. The goal of integrative reflection is ultimately to be shaped so that we can better love God and others and work toward God's kingdom here on earth.
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。
