去年リリースしたLP、『サイズミック』ではメルヴィンズをアメリカ全国ツアーに迎え話題を集め、今年の春はヨーロッパでヘッドラインツアーを行なっていた。
今作には、その『サイズミック』からの収録曲4曲がメンバーおよびその他豪華ミュージシャンによてリミックスされている。
『サイズミック』のバージョンと比べるとよりエクスペリメンタルで原曲と全く別物になっていることから曲名まで変えられている。
原曲のハムやマイ・ブラッディ・ヴァレンタイン等を彷彿とさせる超高密度なドリームロック、スラッジゲイザーっぽい音を残しつつ、『ハンギング・バイ・フェイス』のリミックスのは完全に雰囲気を変えて、スポットライツの別面を見せてくれる作品。
リミックスしてくれているアーティストはメンバー本人のマリオ・キンテロと共にメルヴィンズやマイク・パットンとコラボレーションした“グルーム・サイク”という謎のジャンルをやっているVoid Manesや、『サイズミック』をプロデュースしたアイシス / パームズのメンバーのアーロン・ハリス。
EPの5曲目にスポットライツが非常に尊重してるアーティストであるザ・キュアーの名曲「Faith」のカバーが収録されている。
