白眉はやはり「天国への階段」で、静かなアコギの爪弾きに始まりロバート・プラントが意味深い詞を淡々と綴っていき（この繰り返しがトラッド的）、最後の最後でハードに昇り詰める、という曲だ。
またこの曲の前奏とも言えるM3にはフェアポート・コンヴェンションを脱退したサンディ・デニーが参加。
